  • You will need download and install Fre:ac from there website https://www.freac.org/.
  • You will also need a computer with a Optical Drive or get a USB external Optical Drive.

How to use Fre:ac?

Optimize Fre:ac for the best experience
  1. Launch the app
  2. Loadclose "tip of the day" window
  3. click the "configure general settings" button

  4. Under encoder settings, change encoder to "FLAC Audio Encoder".

  5. Click the "Configure Encoder" button to change output quality
  6. Change preset to level "8, Best Compression"

  7. close all settings windows
  8. click the "Add Audio CD intoContents Opticalbutton" Drive

  9. If track information is not correct press the "Database" drop down and select "Query CDDB Database"
  10. then when the Track info is correct press the "Start Encoding Preccess" button
